St. Agnan is a small village in the Dordogne on the border between the Périgord Vert and Périgord Blanc. The village is situated in a widely varied landscape of undulating meadows, small rivers and lakes, against a backdrop of charming hamlets. The region is famous for its rich nature and history as well as for its fine cuisine.

The impressive former residence and service buildings of Baron de Hautefort are nowadays used as a holiday destination of not only the peace and quiet seeking and cultural minded holiday maker, but also serve families who are looking for a small-scale and child friendly holiday accommodation.

The gîtes are situated in an old restored farm house around a horse-shoe shaped courtyard. The interior is stylish and well equipped, and the bedrooms are furnished with comfortable modern beds. Much attention is paid to the setting of the gîtes and their terraces to create as much privacy as possible for each guest. The terraces are decorated with tasteful and comfortable garden furniture, an umbrella and a big BBQ.
Le Pavillon is situated in the center of the parc. The interior has been renovated in the original style. It is richly decorated with fireplaces and wooden/copper/cristal chandeliers, and has many period features such as panel doors, parquet, wooden ceilings and silk wallpaper.
