Description
La Troika is a light, attractive apartment in Central Morzine. Private garage, ideal for storing and maintaining mountain bikes, outside parking. Intermediate skiers can usually ski back to within 50 metres of the apartment from late December to March. Great value for money and convenience. Situated on the first floor of a small chalet style building, the studio apartment enjoys a quiet location overlooking the chalet garden with lovely views from the balcony to the mountains. It sleeps 4 and comprises entrance hall, living room with sofa bed, conveniently equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath and shower and a bunk bedroom. TV, DVD and Hi Fi facilities are provided plus a ski locker on the ground floor.

Outside there is both a garage, which is ideal for storing and maintaining mountain bikes in summer, and a private parking place.

Weekly rent or flexible short holiday breaks and long week-ends are available. Overall, a very convenient and excellent value self catering holiday apartment rental.

The Portes du Soleil offer a superb winter sports holiday to beginners, intermediates, experts, of all ages and all snow sport disciplines. Summer facilities are also extensive. With over 600km of runs if you ski, snowboard, snowshoe, telemark, cross country ski or randoneé the area offers variety, new challenges, stunning scenery and warm hospitality for those who come here.

The snow record is excellent as we are within the Mont Blanc weather system and this coupled with an advanced snowmaking system and the fact that the pistes are on pasture land not rocks ensures that there are normally fabulous pistes from early December right through to the end of April.

Morzine is situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil offering easy access to the whole area. Admire the beautiful peaks from Morzine and easily access the big bowls, winding runs, steep gulleys, gentle valleys and sparkling forests of the Portes du Soleil.

If you want to ski a smaller area than the vast Portes du Soleil during your holiday you can buy a pass for the Morzine-Les Gets sector. This covers all the mountains on one side of Morzine. It links the Pleney, Morzine, Nyon, Chevannes and Mont Chéry in Les Gets and offers 107km of ski runs between 1000 and 2020 metres in altitude.
Directions
From Geneva airpor follow 'France' and 'Chamonix / Mont Blanc' signs. After about 45 minutes take right turn from motorway, signposted Morzine. Journey time 75 - 90 mins
