Shopping in the many lovely boutiques or grand magasins is a treat or you could enjoy the local color of a nearby market. A boat ride along the Seine takes you to Notre Dame. You can stroll or jog in the Bois de Boulogne with its beautiful lakes and open-air theater.

The nearby metro Passy (about 4 minutes walk) is convenient for visiting all parts of Paris.

Around the corner from the flat is a cafe serving continental breakfast as well as 3 boulangerie and several grocery stores. Banks, restaurants and cafes are all available in the area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, a traditional oven and microwave, refrigerator, toaster, cafetiere (coffee machine). All utensils are provided.

Paris is a city for walking. The Trocadero with its open-air cafés is just a short walk away, as are the rue de Passy bakeries, vegetable stands, wine and cheese shops, butcher, dry cleaners, small super market. Also, great take-out food stores. The Eiffel Tower is just across the bridge. If you are a walker, Monet's Marmottan Museum is a 20 minutes walk. It is a nice 35minutes walk to the Place de la Concorde and Tuilerie Gardens. The Passy metro stop steps away, with a direct line to Etoile (the top of the Champs Elysees).

The RER Boulainvilliers that can take you to the chateau de Versailles is 10 minutes walk.
