The apartment includes two queen size bedrooms, a sofabed room, one bathroom, a large living room and kitchen/dining room. The apartment comes with high-speed internet, 2 bicycles and is fully equipped with linens, a well equipped designer kitchen and stereo, TV, DVD player.
The apartment's location is ideal with shops, bars, restaurants, banks and gelaterie all within 50m of the front door. The historic Piazza San Michele (the ancient piazza of the city) is less than 80m away although the actual positioning of the apartment lends an air of peace and tranquility not usually associated with such central locations.
Lucca is an ideal base to discover many surrounding wonders including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the little harbour town of Lerici, Portovenere and the World Heritage site of the Cinque Terre, renaissance Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti for wine-tasting tours, the marble quarries of Carrara, the sculpture town of Pietrasanta, and the lively and elegant beach resort of Forte dei Marmi.
If opera is your love don’t miss the Puccini Opera festival performed on a floating stage in Torre del Lago only 20 min from Lucca. In spring, summer and fall drive or train 90 minutes to Cinque Terre or travel the same distance north to the famous Garfagnana hiking area; and in the winter, world class skiing and snow boarding is only an hour away in the Apuan Alps.

Lucca is a medieval walled city, rich in history, shopping and sumptuous restaurants. The olive oil of Lucca coupled with it's local wines, bread, cheeses and chestnuts, make it a food lover's delight.
Every night of the year a Puccini concert is performed in a church just around the corner from the apartment. Every third Sunday Lucca’s well-established antiques market spreads out from your front door in Piazza San Guisto and beyond. Plus there's a weekly market, a flower market and so much more.
In the summer don’t miss the Lucca Summer Festival of music, featuring headliner artists such as Nora Jones, Santana and more. Lucca celebrates her history & saints with elaborate festivities all month long in September. November fills up quickly when the world-renown comic festival comes to town. Christmas and Easter bring various markets and late night shopping events to the city.
Directions
Fly into Pisa or Florence. Trains and buses travel frequently from the airport to Lucca for less than 5 Euros. The bus station is just inside the walls of Lucca. The train station is just outside the walls. From either bus or train it's a 10 min walk or a 3 minute taxi ride to the apartment.
