The Villa is an ancient hayloft that has been restored thanks to the collaboration of a famous Italian architect. It is one of a larger set of buildings (where the only two proprietors live), which have preserved the structural features of old Tuscany farmhouses.
is surrounded on all sides by the green hills of Mugello, an area where the environment is carefully protected, and located in the vicinity of the house where the painter Giotto was born. During the restoration activities, special attention was dedicated to reusing natural materials; therefore, precious woods such as elm and handmade terracotta tiles were used to lay the floors and natural marbles such as travertine were chosen as lining for the bathrooms.
The furniture of the rooms is a clever and pleasant mix of old Tuscan and modern Italian styles. The garden, exclusively for the use of our guests, was created by adding botanic elements typical of the Mugello hills and it hosts a swimming pool with a characteristic water fountain, also for the exclusive use of the guests.
