Well furnished with very comfortable beds. Half an hour from Figueres, home of the Dali Museum and one hour away from the interesting town of Girona. Barcelona is only two hours away by train.

Roses itself is a very pleasant small coastal village with a fishing fleet and marina. There is an ancient Citadel and museum containing Graeco Roman ruins. The restaurants in the town and in the surrounding villages are excellent and very cheap in comparison with meals in many other tourist centres. There are many beaches to choose from in the surrounding area and the beautiful village of Cadaques (famous for the fact that Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso both lived nearby)is less than an hour away.
