The Black Bear Inn's unique furnishings, elegant decor and numerous amenities can only be matched by the finest of hotels. It is the perfect place for large families, business or fishing groups or romantic Get-A-Ways. all the rooms have stunning views of the Tongass Narrows. The beautifully appointed bedrooms have fireplaces, private entrances and baths, TV's, refrigerators, phones and high speed wirless Internet. There is an outdoor BBQ, fish smoker, and fish cleaning area for guests to prepare their catch of the day. Complimentery breakfast, snacks and drinks are served daily. The Inn is non-smoking, but the covered porches can be used for smoking.
Personalized Fishing Charter Packages and catered meals are available upon request.

Directions
Ketchikan Alaska's The Black Bear Inn can be reached by air or the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry. Taxies are available and the bus stops at the Inn. It is best to rent a car for tourning the area.

Notes: A reservation deposit of the first nights charge or 50% of the total booking, if the stay is more than one night, is required when the reservation is made. Personal checks, Cashiers Checks, Cash, and Visa or Master payments are accepted. Cancellations must be made two-weeks in advance, in order for deposit to be returned. This requirement will be waved when the cancellation is due to an immediate Family emergency or uncontrollable circumstances due to weather or travel conditions. Proof may be required. In all cancellation cases a $50 processing fee will be retained from the deposit.
